• The 'archives' is running on a Unix based system.  What does this mean to you?  Absolutely nothing, except that Unix is case sensitive.  For example, the show On the Matter of Food, has the link of http://kgovarchives.com/bel/2006/20060105-BEL004.mp3  If you were to link to us using:  http://kgovarchives.com/bel/2006/20060105-bel004.mp3, our server will not find this show  (notice the lower case bel004.mp3 section at the end?).   Therefore, please use the case that is provided on our webpages when you create your links.
• Case Sensitivity applies to any "Anchors" that may be provided in webpages. For  example:  http://kgovarchives.com/kgov2004.html#Norma is not the same as http://kgovarchives.com/kgov2004.html#norma.
  
• Each year we would loose all of the links to us for our main entry page.  When you type in kgovarchives.com into your web browser, all webservers will 'default' to use a specific webpage.  When the new year starts, that 'default' page gets a 'real name' such as kgov2005.html and a new 'default' page is then created.  We have been able to remedy this by using kgov2006.html as our 'default' page.  So now your links will survive the transition next year.
